Lazziz Fine Indian Cuisine in Watertown Has Closed
An Indian restaurant in Watertown has closed its doors after being in business for a bit more than three years.
According to posters on the Yelp site as well as a Twitter post sent to us, Lazziz Fine Indian Cuisine on Main Street in the center of town is now shuttered, with a phone call to the place seeming to confirm this (their phone is no longer in service). One poster on Yelp says that a Thai restaurant is moving into the space, though we are still trying to make sure that this is indeed the case.
Lazziz first opened in the fall of 2009, bringing to the area a dining spot that offered a mix of vegetarian and meat dishes, including a variety of curries and tandoori items. The restaurant had moved into the space where La Casa De Pedro was before moving into the eastern part of town, where it currently resides.
The address for this now-closed Indian dining spot in Watertown was: Lazziz Fine Indian Cuisine, 51 Main Street, Watertown, MA, 02472.
